Introduction
DF-003 is co-extruded PVC acoustic and smoke seals, which could fitted in the rebate of a door frame. Strategically located in the impact free zone, the seal adheres to the frame quickly and easily without having to remove the door. The seal consists of a semi-rigid, flexible flame retardant PVC carrier combined with twin elastomeric sealing blades. An aggressive self-adhesive backing tape is situated on both sides of the carrier. To ensure proper adhesion, contact surfaces must be clean & any paint well cured.

Jamb and header seals of size of 2 x door height and 1 x door width. Tested for acoustic performance with BS EN ISO 10140-2: 2010. Meets the smoke leakage performance requirements of BS9999 when tested in accordance with BS 476 Pt 31.1: 1983.Suitable for use on fire doors under conditions of BS 476: Pt.20/22: 1987.
